Micromax Canvas Doodle 3, 6-inch phablet launched for Rs 8,500:


Just recently Micromax excited us with its future Doodle 3 phablet, and here it comes. The company has launched the Canvas Doodle 3 at a market operative price of Rs 8,500. It will be available via stores from Apr 25. With not-so-impressive specs sheet, the device is perhaps trying to offer large screen experience to budget users.

While the Doodle 2 was fitted with a 5.7-inch display, the Doodle 3 sports a larger 6-inch Full Wide Video Graphics Array display. The device runs on rather older android four.2.2 jelly bean. Underneath the hood, it comes supercharged by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor in addition to 512MB RAM.



The device is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery that guarantees time up to 9 hours of talk time. On the front camera, one can expect a 5-megapixel(5-Mp) rear camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The connectivity choices embody Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, but there is no word on 3G. The 4GB in-built storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Micromax!Doodle application allows users to animate, scribble smileys, doodle chats, and write text over clicked photos just like photo memes. The in-box contents also inlcude a magnetic flip cover to shield the screen from dust and scratches. The company has packed interactive options and applications like Kingsoft office to make and edit documents, pre-loaded games, Opera mini Browser, M!live to transfer unlimited content and Getit that helps search restaurants, ATMs, theatres etc.

On the launch, Shubhodip-Pal, CMO Micromax said, “The Canvas Doodle 3 further enlarge our commitment to authorize our consumers with larger display screen to help them express their thougts in a more creative way. This is complemented by an entire eco-system of applications. With our attempt in Russia and SAARC countries, we have gone a successful journey to become the first Indian brand to go global.”
